Your West Coast Golf Trip Itinerary

Ireland is home to some of the best golf courses in Ireland. See our itinerary for you to enjoy just a slice of what is on offer.

A visit to the west coast of Ireland is a trip like no other. It is a great way to see Ireland, experience the culture, the amazing food and the friendly locals

Day 1: Drive To Enniscrone

First things first - you will need to pickup your campervan from us at Rambling Rover. After this then then head to Enniscrone. This is a coastal town in Sligo and home to the world famous Enniscrone Golf Club

On arrival, take the time to gather your bearings in your luxury camper and then ramble around Enniscrone.

As the evening winds down, it is time to tuck into some of the amazing local seafood and a pint or two.

Day 2: Head To The Enniscrone Golf Club

It's now time to have fun and play some golf. Enjoy the world famous links course here. Be sure to take your time, enjoy every moment and no matter your end score be happy to be there. It is also recommended to play golf and then head over to Ballina and visit the local attractions including the Ballina Salmon Festival. Enniscrone is also one of the best surf locations in all of Ireland.

Day 3: Play Carne Golf Links

It is best to drive north to the Carne Golf Links - a real hidden gem. This is a beautiful course that was designed by Eddie Hackett in 1993. When you are done playing your round here, you can head over to Belmullet and see what the some of the amazing local restaurants.

Day 4: Head To Connemara Golf Links

Now it is time to get to Connemara Golf Links. This is a course that is nestled along the Atlantic Ocean and is gorgeous with its beautiful sights and views of the local landscape.

Playing a round of golf here is always mesmerizing. Once you are done with your round of golf, it is time to go to Clifden for a meal at one of the local restaurants and also take a look at Clifden Castle.

Day 5: Play at the Galway Bay Golf Resort

Now it is time to head south to the Galway Bay Golf Resort. Designed by the famous Irish designer, Christy O'Connor Jnr. This is a fun and challenging course with breathtaking views of the Aran Islands that is sure to stun you as you play your round.

It is beautiful for a round of golf. You can then take a look around the city of Galway. It is a small city with a tonne to offer from street performers to some of the best food in Ireland. Soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a meal in some of the stunning Galway restautants such as Kai.

Day 6: It's Time To Depart

Make your way back to Rambling Rover HQ and return your campervan.
