Fourth Day: Driving From Slieve Bloom Mountains to Birr

Spare the fourth day of your excursion to drive east towards Birr. Birr is an attractive town, popular for its castle and gorgeous gardens. You will also enjoy the town’s rich history and cultural heritage. We recommend that you spend the rest of your day visiting the local attractions and discovering what the town has to offer.

If are willing to go a little bit further there is the early Christian site, Clonmacnoise, dating from 544AD and was once one of the most important sites in all of Ireland.

Day 5: Driving from Birr to Dublin

Use your last day to drive back to Dublin to enable you to return the campervan and interact with the town’s rich culture and explore its rich history. There are several popular landmarks in Dublin that you can visit on your last day and experience the Irish culture firsthand.
